2008 China Linux Developer Symposium

Co-Hosted by The Linux Foundation and the China Open Source Promotion Union

The China Linux Developer Symposium in Beijing will group leading kernel developers with Chinese engineers from the corporate, academic and government sectors for the purpose of technical collaboration and exchange. The goals of this union are to increase Chinese developer participation in Linux and educate kernel developers of Chinese open source projects and resources. Over 300 people are expected to attend.


This two-day event includes a summit on February 19th, followed by roundtable and BOF sessions on February 20th. Session topics will cover Linux server, desktop and mobile embedded technology. Confirmed speakers include: Andrew Morton of the Linux Foundation and Google, Jonathan Corbet of Linux Weekly News, Coly Li of SuSE Labs/Novell, Dave Neary of GNOME Foundation, Matt Mackall of Selenic Consulting, Glenn Seiler of Wind River and Jim Zemlin of our very own, Linux Foundation.
