Weekly Executive Summary

This task has mostly stalled. Initial evaluations were done, but not recorded anywhere, and no follow-up was done. Thus, the first task is to re-gather the evaluations we previously had made.

One task that is currently in progress: acquire a newer Power system for ppc32/ppc64.

Vision

In order to get the work done that we need, we must make sure we have adequate hardware resources. Do we? What are the needs?

Milestones

A rough proposed schedule for this project. When we anticipate that we will reach certain milestones. Also, if the project has an absolutely-must-be-completed-by date, mention it here.

Comments

The one thing we know about, so far, is that we most probably need a better/newer Power system than the PowerMac we have. Ted is working with some people at IBM to see if we can get one contributed.
