The purpose of the Vendor Advisory Council (VAC) is to provide a neutral forum in which member companies can discuss shared issues, collaborate on projects of common interest and cooperatively direct funds to open source development community activities and members.

The VAC includes some of the most knowledgeable and influential of our members. It is with their guidance that The Linux Foundation is able to ensure that our workgroups and events achieve the collaborative and progressive results that help improve the Linux platform.
