The first day of LinuxCon proved to be a big hit amongst many attendees, not just for the quality of content but for the extracurricular activities the event has provided.
And the nice thing about it was that while there was fun to be had, attendees also raised $3,000 for Defenders of Wildlife. Congratulations, then, to all involved.
After a night of fun like that, and with all the work that some LinuxCon goers still can’t seem to tear themselves away from, it’s nice to have a chance to relax. The venue here is pretty nice, lots of alcoves and niches in the Portland Waterfront Marriott to sit down and converse.¬†
So, while there are excellent massage services, there are also skin care consultation and other holistic care options here at the show, according to The Dragontree’s Heather Wade.
This may not sound like much, but traveling¬† alone can bring a lot of stress to anyone, so we’re happy to offer the little things to help make everyone’s visit to LinuxCon as fun as possible.
