Open Source IoT Day 2019

December 7, 2019

Join us for the Open Source IoT Day, in Bangalore, India, a day-long event that will arm participants with valuable insights into the major open source software and hardware technologies that are powering innovative IoT-driven solutions.

Many technologies (including the Internet) we all use in our everyday lives trace their birth to the open source movement. The GNU / Linux, Apache, MySQL, Mozilla, C library, and Arduino are probably the most famous modern day open source technologies but sharing of information among community members has powered humanity’s quest for knowledge for a long time.

Open source technologies enables rapid learning curve, maturity, and adoption by encouraging sharing, reusing, and intensive improvement of technical knowledge by leveraging the combined efforts of the community. As many have said, ‘you see further by standing on the shoulders of giants’.

Arpit Joshipura, GM Networking & Orchestration + Edge/IOT / Linux Foundation, will participate in the event. Details TBD. If you would like to meet with Arpit at the event, please email lfn-info@lfnetworking.org.
