Expanded global schedule brings agentic AI ecosystem together across ten cities, with flagship AGNTCon + MCPCon events and regional MCP Dev Summits driving standards adoption

SAN FRANCISCO – April 2, 2026, The Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), the neutral home for open standards powering agentic AI systems, today announced its expanded 2026 global events program, featuring a series of developer and ecosystem gatherings across North America, Europe, Asia, India and Africa. AAIF events convene the builders of agentic AI, from leading model providers to enterprise adopters and developers, to collaborate on the protocols, reference implementations, and frameworks required to move AI agents from experimentation into production.

The lineup is anchored by AGNTCon + MCPCon Europe on Sept. 17-18 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and AGNTCon + MCPCon North America, Oct. 22-23, San Jose, California, which will serve as the foundation's flagship events, bringing together the companies and developers building the infrastructure for interoperable, production-ready AI agents.

Supporting these banner events is a global series of MCP Dev Summits designed to deepen hands-on engagement with the open technologies and standards that power agentic systems, including Model Context Protocol (MCP), goose, and AGENTS.md, and to accelerate adoption across regional ecosystems.

“The 2026 AAIF events program reflects growing global demand for open, vendor-neutral infrastructure that enables AI agents to operate reliably and securely across tools, data, and platforms,” said Mazin Gilbert, Executive Director, AAIF. “As adoption accelerates, these events bring the ecosystem together to turn standards into real systems that run in production at scale.”

Each MCP Dev Summit provides a focused environment for developers to build with MCP, goose, and AGENTS.md – the core technologies that enable agents to connect to tools, operate across environments, and interact with software systems in a consistent, production-ready way.

AGNTCon + MCPCon events expand this work beyond individual projects to the full ecosystem, combining technical deep dives with enterprise strategy, governance discussions, and cross-industry collaboration. Together, these events serve as the central gathering points for the organizations defining how agentic systems operate at scale.
