Registration, call for papers open for inaugural Open Networking Summit in Europe

LOS ANGELES (Open Networking Summit), March 29, 2018 —The Linux Foundation today announced that Open Networking Summit (ONS) will hold its inaugural European event  September 25-27, 2018, in Amsterdam. Open Networking Summit Europe brings the industry’s premier open networking event to Amsterdam, gathering enterprises, service providers and cloud providers across the ecosystem to share learnings, highlight innovation and discuss the future of Open Source Networking, including SDN, NFV, orchestration and the automation of cloud, network and IoT services.

“We’re excited to announce Open Networking Summit Europe, hosted in Amsterdam,” said Arpit Joshipura, general manager of Networking, The Linux Foundation. “As our community continues to expand globally, it is crucial to create opportunities to engage on a local level. We hope to further establish ONS as the premier networking event, not only in North America but internationally, beginning with Europe.”

The call for papers is now open and closes on June 24; additional information and details on how to submit can be found here. Attendees can save $200 USD on their registration before August 4; full details available here. Additional details on sponsorship can be found on the ONS Europe event website.

Open Networking Summit Europe will build on the success of Open Networking Summit North America, which featured over 75 sessions presented by leaders in open networking in Los Angeles this spring. Presentations, photos and videos from the event will be available in the coming weeks, here.
