In this novel study, the Linux Foundation is collecting data on open source investments, benefits, and ROI across different organizational contexts. The goal is to provide empirical evidence that helps organizations and engineers make data-driven decisions about OSS engagement and demonstrate measurable economic impacts of using and contributing to open source projects.
