eBPF Foundation Accelerates Growth with Meta, Toyota Membership, and New Strategic Board Leadership

SAN FRANCISCO – July 23, 2026 – The eBPF Foundation, which advances eBPF’s upstream development and promotes its secure adoption across platforms, today announced new members and appointees to the eBPF Governing Board, signaling significant growth for the community. The Foundation welcomes Meta as a Platinum Member and Toyota as a Silver Member.

To support the community and direction of the Foundation, the eBPF Foundation elected three key members to its Governing Board:

• Bill Mulligan, Cilium and eBPF Community Pollinator at Isovalent at Cisco, Board Chair: Mulligan brings extensive experience in developer relations and community building within the cloud native ecosystem. His ongoing work to champion eBPF adoption globally makes him an exceptional choice to lead the board and foster continued collaboration among maintainers, contributors, and end users.
• Anjali Kanak, Senior Engineering Manager at Netflix, Board Treasurer: Netflix is a recognized pioneer in utilizing eBPF for high-performance network observability and security. Kanak’s engineering leadership experience brings a vital combination of technical depth, strategic planning, and operational rigor to the Foundation's financial oversight.
• Kenta Tada, Project Manager at Toyota, Silver Member Board Representative: As eBPF expands beyond traditional cloud infrastructure into edge and automotive systems, Tada brings a critical enterprise perspective to the board.
