SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 14, 2026 – The OpenSearch Software Foundation, the neutral home for the OpenSearch project, today announced that the OpenSearch Platform has been named a winner of SiliconANGLE’s 2026 TechForward Awards in the Analytics & Data Intelligence Solutions category.

Enterprise AI adoption is now ubiquitous, and OpenSearch has become foundational infrastructure for agentic AI workloads, providing the vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and real-time observability capabilities that agentic systems require to operate reliably at scale. This award recognizes OpenSearch’s ability to unify enterprise search, observability, vector databases, security analytics, and agentic AI infrastructure within a single open source platform at enterprise scale while reducing tool sprawl and preventing vendor lock-in.
