Furthering open network harmonization globally across telcos and standards bodies
Continuing the momentum of open source being adopted by leading telcos globally, we are thrilled to welcome Telstra as the newest LFN member at the Gold level. With Telstra’s participation, the LFN community is extending its global harmonization efforts across technologies and organizations, from the traditional network stack to standards bodies and beyond.
Telstra is a leading telecommunications and information services company, operating the largest mobile and Wi-Fi networks in Australia. Additionally, Telstra provides a host of solutions and services to its customers including managed network services, global connectivity, cloud, voice, colocation, conferencing and satellite solutions.

Telstra is looking to build upon its diverse efforts in open source and open standards communities such as SDN controller, Network-as-a-service, security analytics and open radio access. Telstra will participate in the LFN community by leading collaboration across standards organizations like TMForum, MEF and others through ONAP and other projects. LF Networking, through ONAP, collaborates with standard APIs to form the basis of project releases, making standards and open source communities stay in sync.
